Technical Info
- All Electric Powered Wings
Power for all electric wings is provided by 8-9 rechargeable NiMH AA batteries (not included) contained in a black battery pack located in the middle of the wings. Wings with blue, white or green LED's require 9 AA batteries while wings with red LED's only need 8. This is simply because NiMH rechargable batteries have slightly less voltage than normal batteries even though they provide much more power.
You will need to purchase these batteries with a charger seperatley. If you prefer, batteries and charger can be provided with your order. Contact jprishea@hotmail.com
NiMH BATTERIES EXAMPLE and CHARGER
12V Linear Electric Actuator provides up to 200 lbs of force required to open and close the wings.
While opening or closing allow both sides of the wings to move together. Do not force wings or attempt to open or close wings manually. This will damage your wings. Allow the wings to open and close by themselves.
Electric wings will not run properly on normal batteries, even expensive camera batteries do not output enough power to open and close the wings. Only NiMH batteries will work because of their ability to be drained much faster than normal batteries.
Wings can be worn in the rain for limited amounts of time. Do NOT allow the lights to get wet.
Every few months or so take some WD40 and put it inside the joints or the wings. Do NOT put any WD40 or any othe lubricant on the actuator (the piston in the middle). It does not require lubrication.
- All CO2 Powered Wings
These wings are powered by pressurized CO2 gas. The CO2 is stored in the tanks on the back of the wings. When fully charged the wings can open and close 12-16 times before needing to be refilled.
To refill the wings use the pocket sized CO2 inflator included with each set of CO2 powered wings. These hand held CO2 inflators are commonly used to refill bike and car tires. Because of this, the wings can also be refilled with a shop compressor or at a gas station because they use the same connection port as car and bicycle tires.
Each set of CO2 powered wings comes with a Red Zeppelin CO2 Inflator and 6 CO2 cartridges (16 gram threaded cartridges). Each cartridge can refill the wings 2 or 3 times. And for each refill the wings can open and close 12-16 times, which means each cartridge can make the wings open and close about 36 times.
To obtain more cartridges find a local bike shop that sells "16 GRAM THREADED CO2 CARTRIDGES" or order them online. Check for shipping availability in your country. Sometimes companies will not ship CO2 cartridges over seas or across borders because they contain pressurized gas.

Note: CO2 cartridges can be found cheaper elswhere if you do a bit of searching.
When refilling the wings make sure they are empty first. The inflator only needs to be activated for 2 or 3 seconds to fill the wings. Do not overfill the wings. You will hear a hissing sound as the wings are filling. If you only fill the wings a little bit at a time instead of filling them all the way up each time you can get more activations than usual due to more efficient use of pressure.
- Cyber Gladiator Armour
Power for the cyber gladiator armour is provided by 8 AAA batteries located in a battery pack which goes over the chest. ON/OFF button is located on the battery pack. If the lights do not turn on check the fuse located inside the battery pack next to the button.
Fuse is sized mini 0.3 Amps at 125V
Lights will stay on for up to 48 hours on fresh batteries.
Do NOT wear cyber gladiator arm in the rain. While cleaning take special care not to get liquid inside the flat panel lights. After cleaning allow a day for the arm to dry before turning it on.
- Laser Eye Scope
Power for the laser eye scope is provided by three LR44 batteries (alternate name AG13). These are the type of batteries found in laser pointers. They are very common and can be found at the dollar store. To replace batteries unscrew back cover of laser pointer near the ear loop, shake batteries out, insert fresh ones small side down and rescrew the cover back on the laser pointer. You might need a flat head screwdriver to do this.
Do NOT get the laser eye scope wet or wear out in the rain. If the scope has gotten wet allow it to dry in a warm enviroment for a day.
- Ever Light
Power for ever light provided by 8 AA batteries of any variety. You will need a screw driver to open the battery pack on the opposite side of the magnets. Do NOT get wet. Light will stay on for over 72 hours straight.
